Terms of Service

By accessing or using GlyphKit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, and API consumers.

GlyphKit is an asset generation API that produces production-ready SVGs, PNGs, ICOs, favicon packages, and brand asset kits on demand. The Service is designed for use by developers, AI agents, and automated pipelines.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

To access the API, you must create an account and obtain an API key. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

You may not share your API key with third parties or use another user's API key without their explicit permission.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations.

You may not use the Service to generate, distribute, or facilitate the creation of content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.

You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service infrastructure, including circumventing rate limits or access controls.

Automated agents and pipelines are permitted provided they comply with the API rate limits associated with your plan.

API usage is subject to the rate limits and quotas defined by your subscription plan. Exceeding your plan quota may result in requests being rejected until the next billing cycle.

We may throttle or suspend access to the API for accounts that cause disproportionate load on the Service or that violate these Terms.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. All prices are listed in USD.

Annual plans are billed as a single upfront payment. Monthly plans renew automatically on the same calendar date each month.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not receive a prorated refund for unused time unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Assets generated by GlyphKit using your inputs are yours to use commercially and non-commercially without restriction, subject to these Terms.

The GlyphKit name, logo, API, codebase, and documentation are owned by GlyphKit and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlyphKit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amounts paid by you for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date below.

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
